Saturday: Newell Farmer’s Market : $8.20 (local produce, including an amazing cantaloupe)
Sunday: None
Monday: Harris Teeter: $49.07 ($17 of this was dog food, and I stocked up on canned bean and pasta that was on sale)
Tuesday: Family Dollar $5.79 (made in USA dog treats and a jar of Salsa)
Wednesday:The Bradford Store $23 (awesome produce, figs, watermelon, Salsa from Huntersville, Apple butter from TN…)
Thursday: Dinner at Ninety’s and drinks at BeanTown: Total $29
Friday: None
Totals $31.20 spent on local produce. $54.07 at chain groceries (both chains are based out of the Charlotte Area though). $29 on eating out local. So if you include my eating out as ‘local’ though I don’t know where their food was sourced form, then I spent more than half my money locally for this week. And really I think I spent more on groceries than usual for this week since I was buying dog food which will last a couple months until it goes on sale again.
